Aesthetic Pleasure is an independent fashion label, founded in 2013 by Putri J. Ghariza. Aesthetic Pleasure doing their first debut collection show, projekt : 00 in CFA, Jakarta Fashion Week 2013. Putri J. Ghariza completed her study in graphic design she started to release collections that is composed of seasonless pieces brought together by a high influence of youth culture and the theory and technique that is graphic design. She’s more interested in developing alternative ways of exposing product, one which she has more control over the process. Aesthetic Pleasure plays with the roles and perceptions of the norm and distorts and twists them for our pleasure.

In Aesthetic Pleasure’s design language, minimalism has always been synonymous with empowerment. “Strong. Powerful. Reduced.” The collection that consisted of mostly black sharp deconstructed tailoring blazer, shirt, pants, skirt, the clothes are poetic with raw edge finished, garments were designed with a very literal no-frills attitude; Aesthetic Pleasure’s garments are romantic and delicate, but without compromising practicality. We saw something more emotional, very feminine and light, minimalism collection with a poetic and very personal attitude. All, in such strong opposition to its powerful tailoring.

The smart daytime ready-to-wear apparel and accessories including leather bags, and shoes that Aesthetic Pleasure introduced was intended to suit the contemporary woman: a professional, a city-dweller, and a mother. The brand’s fresh, raw-cut tailoring, and lightweight materials are perfect for casual, from day to night style.
